A friendly welcome awaits you at our touring park, which during 2012 was upgraded to an AA 5 Pennatt graded park, and during 2013 became a David Bellamy Gold Award park from a Silver Award. For the start of the 2013 season we installed a 10kw Solar Panel system and for the 2014 season, adding to our ever improving environmental programme, we are having Wood Pellet Biomass Boiler system's installed to replace all of our oil boiler's. Despite all this, there has been no increase to our per person price's from our 2013 prices.

Situated four miles north of Newquay on the B3276 coast road in beautiful countryside designated by the National Trust as an area of outstanding natural beauty. The choice of beaches for you is endless; from a calm, secluded cove to the soaring cliffs and wide open stretches of sand that stand comparison with any in the world. Watergate Bay is half a mile away, and the size of the beach guarantees it is never overcrowded. At low tide the beach is two and a half miles long and it is possible to walk all of the way to Newquay. There are also plenty of rock pools for the children to play in as well as designated safe swimming areas in the sea. A free mini-bus is provided during the main school holidays to and from Watergate Bay. This runs five times a day, except Saturdays.
For the enthusiast, the Extreme Sports Academy is based at Watergate Bay, incorporating surfing, power kiting, buggying and kite surfing etc., with regular championship competitions, allowing you to participate or just dream.

The park is divided into separate enclosures and all pitches are individually marked out ensuring there is no overcrowding. Each pitch has car access allowing you to park next to you tent or caravan. Unlike most in the area, the park is completely level throughout with excellent drainage ensuring no risk of flooding even in the heaviest downpour.
The pitches on our park consist of Non-Electric Pitches, 10amp Electric Pitches, 16amp Electric Pitches and Super Pitches which are equipped with a 16amp electric supply and mains water/drainage point. Each of these pitches are approximately 9 meters x 9 meters. There are also Extra Large 16amp Electric Pitches measuring approximately 9 meters deep by 12 meters across. Those of you that do not own a caravan or tent, we have two static caravans on site, or you could even fly down to Newquay Airport and hire a motorhome/camper van

We welcome dogs on the strict understanding that they are kept on a lead whilst on site. Also provided is a dog excercise walk which leads to open fields, allowing your dogs freedom to run. Dogs are allowed on Watergate Bay beach.
